My internship experiences 


 

           In the B ed curriculum , the core and solid program was the school induction and internship program in the   Second and the third sem of our course.For this , I selected Govt East H S , Muvattupuzha for my internship program. The schoolil was just near to my home, so it was very easy for me to reach the school daily.

 I haven’t any tuition experience ,  so I was a little nervous when i reached at the school in the first day.

for the first days , we did n’t teach anything ,  for familiarise the ambiance… It was very interesting thing that all students call us “ teacher, teacher”  , when i hear this ,   I felt very happy always.

 I got the opportunity to take the class of 9B students of the school. It was 34 students in the class . It is divided as 2 batches .each batches comes the school in the consecutive 3days of a week .so it was easy to manage the small class . The maths teacher of the school , Ms Swapna , was very supportive.  I taught 4 lessons from the textbook of 9 th standard. New Numbers ( irrational numbers) , Circles, Parallel lines , Polynomials.

 

Besides the classroom , it was the  mid day meal scheme in the school. So to make have the whole school , a single cook could not meet the task , so we the trainees helped her to cut vegetables , to serve the lunch , etc 


We became the part of the school , we  got the opportunity to join with different teachers , , staffs of the school , parents of the students, students from various classes & also different teacher trainees of other colleges too… 

 We joined in various program  Of the school , School workshops, school arts competition, Christmas celebration , etc . We conducted maths club activities as the part of curriculum…


 I got many goodmemorable days of life from the school , Really it is very worthy and valuing task for the student teachers …
